Breakfast club - Manor School Site
Manor Site
Breakfast club runs from 7.30am. The children are offered different options for breakfast. The children then encourage to join in with a variety of activities as well as free play with their choice of resources within the setting until the school children are taken to Manor School. The Preschool children get ready for the morning session to start at 8.45am.
An 8.30 (early drop off) option is available. All session times and prices can be found on our Fees List page.
Meadow View
All the children that attend the preschool before 8am will receive breakfast in the dining room. A variety of options will be available.
Sessions
As the children arrive the child will be greeted at the gate by a member of staff then brought inside to wash their hands and self register by adding their name plate to the board. This helps the children to develop self confidence skills, a feeling of belonging and to help them recognise their name.
Once all the children are in, the main door is opened and the children have free access to the indoor and outdoor environment for the whole session. Each area of the preschool is provided with activities and open ended resources for the children to explore, alongside member of staff encouraging development across all areas of the EYFS, provide challenge opportunities, remodeling behaviour, and encouraging social prompts. We ensure that all children are given the same opportunities along side their stage of development, all children have the option to have a go and are encouraged to take risks and to try again.
Snack
Snack is provided through the session on a rolling basis so children can access it when they want to. This enables them to continue their play until they want to stop. The children use real crockery and are encouraged to be independent by pouring their own drinks from glass jugs or tea pots.
The children are offered milk or water and a healthy snack.
Water is provided throughout the session.
Lunch Time
Manor Site
We offer the option of a hot dinner (chargeable),or bringing a packed lunch from home. Hot dinners are provided by Appetito and cooked on site. All hot dinners are nutritionally balanced and healthy. A menu is available on our Menu page
Afterschool Club
School children are collected at 3.00pm from Manor School and brought over to the preschool. The children have access to all the areas of the preschool including the outside area.
Tea
All afterschool club children are offered a hot meal within the afterschool club session, around 4.30.
